We’re delighted to announce the return of our landmark production SEA WALL by Simon Stephens starring Andrew Scott.
SEA WALL is directed by our Joint Artistic Director George and stars one of the world’s great stage actors Andrew Scott, fresh from his lauded Hamlet in the West End.
SEA WALL was last seen at the National Theatre in 2013, and Dublin International Festival in 2015. It returns for just 14 performances at The Old Vic from 18 – 30 June. Tickets are on sale here.

We’re delighted to announce our Playwright Fellow for 2018 is Charley Miles. Charley will spend a year on attachment at PPHQ.

Charley Miles is a playwright from North Yorkshire.
Her debut play, BLACKTHORN, was produced in 2016 and went on to become a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn award in New York in 2017. She was the Channel 4 Playwright in Residence at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in 2017, and has recently written plays for the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, the Royal Court, and the West Yorkshire Playhouse. Her original television drama, IN MEMORIUM, is in development with Buccaneer Media.

Team PP is packing up and moving to Edinburgh for the Festival Fringe and we are looking for a team of hard working theatre lovers to help us deliver a packed programme of shows in our beautiful pop-up theatre Roundabout. Once again this August Roundabout will be in the courtyard of Edinburgh’s Summerhall housing a season of extraordinary work in a thrilling 360-degree setting.
Roundabout will host more than 200 performances over 26 days with over 30,000 available tickets for 300 hours of theatre ranging from world premieres to international award winners. Roundabout is the place to be at EdFringe 2018. You can see all 11 shows in our bumper programme here.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking people who are engaged, open and fans of new writing to join our Festival Team and work across two roles for the duration of the festival. These are:
Working in the Festival Team is flexible so would suit students living in Edinburgh, anyone who might be working on their own shows at the fringe – whatever brings you to the festival we want to hear from you. We strongly encourage all team members to see as much as possible whilst at the festival, and offer shifts at varying times to allow this.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The venue is open to the public 1-26 August inclusive. Shift lengths will be between 4 and 5 hours, and will be available between 10:30am and 1am each day, depending on your position and availability. You can expect to work no more than six shifts a week during this period as dictated by our rota.
You will be paid an hourly rate of £7.83.

Being an enthusiastic ambassador for Roundabout and the shows, which includes wearing our branded uniform.
Flyering and postering around Edinburgh (come rain or shine).
Talking to the public about the shows.
Sticking up and stapling reviews.
Watching the Roundabout productions so you can confidently promote the shows when flyering.
