Hello Jo, Goodbye Jack!

Sad times at PPHQ as we bid farewell to our Marketing & Audience Development Manager Jack who is leaving Team PP after two and a half years to join the National Theatre.

If you read our newsletters and social feeds, that’s Jack. If you’ve been to see any of our shows, Jack will have had something to do with enticing you there. Pretty much anything we put out into the world, Jack will have had a big hand in, as well as spearheading our strategic audience development projects nationwide. He has been an integral and invaluable member of Team PP. He’s also made some decent Taste Tuesdays and been magnanimous in heavy defeat in the PP Fantasy Football League, so we will miss him very much.

We’re thrilled, though, that he’s off to the NT to work on their Theatre Nation Partnerships project. All best wishes Jack. You can follow Jack on his new adventure on Twitter @JackHeat_On.

And as if by magic, hello to our new Marketing & Audience Development Officer Jo.

Jo joins PP having worked as PR Assistant for Mobius Industries at the Edinburgh Fringe and at Leicester Square Theatre as Marketing and Administrative Assistant.

Jo is a member of the Poor Michelle creative team, and recently led as creative producer on their first community project, DECADE. She also produced THICK SKIN, which was performed as a Paines Plough LATER at Roundabout, Summerhall in 2017. Prior to this she acted as Production Assistant on The 42nd Theatre Company’s FOUR THIEVES VINEGAR.

Jo graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies (European) in 2016, having spent a year in Berlin, where she acted as Assistant Director for an international community theatre project. She regularly volunteers for Touretteshero, and has worked as a CSA in both House Management and in the Learning Department at the National Theatre.

Jo writes, is a keen cyclist and is trying her hand at intermediate-level vegetarian cooking (we look forward to her Taste Tuesday debut). She is also a self-professed Instagram addict.
